Ladies, you can forget your LBD, if only for the month of February. That’s because in true fashion week form, the National Institutes of Health calls on your favorite celebrities to promote The Heart Truth campaign in racy red gowns. Since 2003, the organization has kicked off New York Fashion Week with its Red Dress Collection runway affair to showcase the latest from your favorite designers while combating the number one killer of women in America, heart disease. Last night, a new class of stars joined the Red Dress Collection coterie by gracing the runway at New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom in some of the most ravishing designs of the seasons. With floor-grazing gowns, sweetheart necklines, and celebrity stylist June Ambrose front row, we were inspired to wear red on more than our lips this fashion week and all month long.
